Welcome to the official website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Alpha Beta Gamma Omega Chapter. As we enter 2026, we proudly celebrate five years of service since our chartering in December 2021; five years defined by vision, resilience, and a commitment to excellence.
I am Shawn Millin, a proud Charter Member and the third President of Alpha Beta Gamma Omega Chapter. Born from the Pearls By The Bay Interest Group, our chapter continues to build upon a strong foundation rooted in sisterhood, scholarship, and service, while honoring the enduring legacy of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.
As a native Marylander, I remain deeply committed to serving Turner Station and the surrounding communities. Through strategic leadership, meaningful partnerships, and the collective strength of our members, Alpha Beta Gamma Omega continues to make a lasting impact while upholding the highest standards of our Sorority.
As we mark this fifth year, we do so with gratitude for the journey and confidence in the future ahead.

The mission of Alpha Beta Gamma Omega Chapter is to exemplify the ideals of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® by leading with purpose, cultivating meaningful relationships within our sisterhood, and expanding inclusive, community-centered programs. Through intentional civic engagement, service across East Baltimore County, strategic partnerships, and steadfast dedication to the Sorority’s international initiatives, we strive to uplift our community, honor our legacy, and empower generations to come.
